Update on site changes

I have finally fixed all of the Guitar Pro and backing track links. Everything should be working now.

I also got a new file host for all of the bigger tab scans that were too big for Blogger to host. This was all made possible by my friend Uglow, a generous reader of the blog. He donated the space and helped me set everything up.

Lastly, people have asked me for a way to see what posts have been changed and edited after the fact. I have added a Recently Updated Posts page where I will add a note if I add a new video to an old post, or add a new tab etc. The link is at the bottom of the About Smiths On Guitar sidebar.

Hey! I've only started listening to The Smiths this year and I've been shocked to find out what I've been missing out on my whole life. As a guitarist I'm truly stunned by Marr's unique work and style, it's been a real inspiration to me.

Trying to learn Smiths by ear has been a little bit of a struggle so I'm really glad to have bumped across this blog! Thanks a bunch for what's you're doing. Seriously appreciated!

so you have to purchase guitar pro? IS THIS THE ONLY WAY OF SEEING TAB?

plenty of guitar tabs at http://www.911tabs.com/tabs/t/the_smiths/ Anon, but guitar pro is probably the best tab prog out there. Probably be able to find a trial version or crack on the net

BTW , well done for such a good tab site, I know the tabs are available on the net but all the added info and youtube vids make this a great site for anyone who appreciates Marrs guitar work

Great site. Love the guitar pro tabs!

Is there any way to download a zip of all tabs at once? Can you provide this option?

Thanks,
Rob.

Hi Rob, thanks for the comment. I don't currently have them all together like that, but I may do that in the near future.

exceptional work : thanks !

but i think you can suppress the "style files" : no interest

I agree the "Style Files" are kind of ridiculous, but they tie in with the article, so I included them.

Thanks for the nice comments!

If it didn't sound so daft I would say that it's sites like this that make the Internet such a wonderful thing! Thanks so much for the work you put in!
